OBAMA THREATENED TO SHOOT DOWN ISRAELI JETS
The Bethlehem-based news agency Ma’an has cited a Kuwaiti newspaper report Saturday, that US President Barack Obama thwarted an Israeli military attack against Iran's nuclear facilities in 2014 by threatening to shoot down Israeli jets before they could reach their targets in Iran. Following Obama's threat, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was reportedly forced to abort the planned Iran attack...the Netanyahu government took the decision to strike Iran some time in 2014 soon after Israel had discovered the United States and Iran had been involved in secret talks over Iran’s nuclear program and were about to sign an agreement in that regard behind Israel's back. Obama Warns Congress He Will Veto Legislation Against Iran Deal
President Barack Obama will veto any bills passed by the US Senate that allows lawmakers to weigh in on any deal signed between the P5+1 and Iran, the White House announced on Saturday. “The president has been clear that now is not the time for Congress to pass additional legislation on Iran. Israel will feel US rage after Netanyahu leaves Washington
When he leaves the US, Netanyahu will leave behind scorched earth. Op-Ed: Pray for Netanyahu On This Day of Reckoning
Obama offers patience and respect for Iran, a country run by fanatics. For Israel, our most dependable ally – contempt.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is hours away from giving the speech of his life. Pray for him to succeed. Pray for the welfare of Israel. Pray for the welfare of the United States...Netanyahu knows that it’s do or die. His people, Israel, cannot afford to play games. Israel cannot afford to take chances, cannot risk its safety on a wager, guessing whether Iran’s cards are up or down. America can lose a war and still survive. No such luck for the Jewish State, which, in addition to Iran, faces imminent threats along all its borders. It is by Devine providence that Netanyahu’s speech to the U.S. Congress is scheduled for March 3, two days in advance of the Purim holiday, and the eve of the Fast of Esther. The fast commemorates a similar fast held by the Jews of the Persian empire to assist Queen Esther, a Jewess, before she approached the king’s to request that he reverse a decree condemning the Jews of Persia (Iran) to death. Today, with a fanatical regime in Persia threatening to wipe out the Jewish people, Netanyahu is following Esther’s example of audacious courage. Remember in 2012 Netanyahu gave Obama the Book of Esther and the Biblical parable...Obama did not get the message and is now moving ahead with the P5+1 agreement that will seemingly spell a death sentence for Israel, except for God’s intervention, and intervene he will - see Jeremiah 49:34-39.

Jeremiah 11:11 contains a serious warning: “Therefore thus says the Lord: “Behold, I will surely bring calamity on them which they will not be able to escape; and though they cry out to Me, I will not listen to them.”
Yes, Jeremiah 11:11 was written for Israel, however, as Jonathan Cahn draws a parallel for America from Isaiah 9:10 “The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment” (the same judgmental consequences for Israel visited on America), a parallel “Harbinger” may be true for America and may find its fulfillment in the words of Jeremiah 11:11.
For those of you who have read Cahn’s latest book “The Mystery of the Shemitah” and then have watched the volatility in the stock market, which began the day after Rosh Hashanah 2014 (the first day of the Shemitah year) can see that the “Calamity” has already begun and most “will not be able to escape” the financial devastation which is to come! Many have suggested it is already too late to “cry out” as God’s judgment on America (and the world for that matter) is fixed to His timetable for wrapping up the Church Age, taking His Bride home, and unleashing His righteous judgement (Tribulation period) on Earth! Cahn also points out “the focus of the message is not date-setting but the call of God to repentance and return. 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” “At the same time, something of significance could take place, and it is wise to note the times.”
So in the words of the author of the Op-Ed above, Pray for Israeli PM Netanyahu to succeed in his address to Congress. Pray for the welfare of Israel...and Pray for the welfare of the United States, in spite of what our leaders are doing to Israel - 2 Chronicles 7:14.
Gog of Magog On The Move
Breaking News from Eschatology Today Blog: The Russian Federation has launched large-scale war games throughout its Southern Military District (image above) plus Russia's newly annexed territory of Crimea, as well as its bases in Abkhazia and South Ossetia (formerly the western and northern districts of the Republic of Georgia), and in Armenia. These military forces consist of two entire land armies, large numbers of Special Forces (Spetsnaz), four brigades of paratroops, a Marine brigade plus several independent Marine battalions, the entire Black Sea Fleet and the 4th Air/Air Defense Forces Command.
These war games are an unambiguous message to NATO and Israel about Russian military forces preparedness to engage in full-scale war at a moments notice. Reinforcing this message is the Russian Defense Ministry announcement of these war games continuing over the course of the next month, which not so coincidentally happens to overlap with the time remaining for the P5+1 nuclear negotiations with Iran to reach an agreement. Also not coincidentally is the geographic fact that the large swath of territory that is the Russia's Southern Military District is directly north and contiguous with the Iranian border. Most important from the biblical eschatological perspective is that this territory fully encompasses the northern territories identified in the prophecy of Ezekiel 38/39.
Related to this is news from the Ukrainian government that Russia is using the current ceasefire not to withdraw its troops from eastern Ukraine, but to instead rotate them with fresh troops from Russia. The Ukrainian government estimates there are now a minimum of 18,000 Russian troops on Ukrainian soil in Donetsk and Luhansk provinces. Gog of Magog is clearly on the move with his military forces.

Jeremiah 49:35-39 Update
With the P5+1 Iran Agreement looming on March 24th and its potential impact on Israel; after a seemingly unsuccessful plea to the U.S. Congress by Israeli PM Netanyahu, the following report was recently posted by Eschatology Today http://eschatologytoday.blogspot.com/2015/03/global-sitrep-b5-15-more-on-jeremiah.html: Exactly one week after PM Netanyahu's speech the Iranian Assembly of Experts elected the notorious Hojjatieh Twelver Ayatollah Mohammed-Taqi Mesbah Yazdi. Ayatollah Yazdi is the Iranian cleric who brought Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to power in Iran. Ayatollah Mesbah-Yazdi managed to fall off, or was deliberately and politically knocked off of the top echelon of the clerical elite in Iran during 2013. A ruse during nuclear negotiations, no doubt. He was then summarily dismissed by most intelligence agencies as having little or no influence in any future decision to replace Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.
Here is an example of that type of intelligence dismissal of Ayatollah Yazdi that was published by Israel's Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center on July 8, 2013:
"The erosion of Mesbah Yazdi’s status may be temporary and it is quite implausible that he will lose all of his political and religious influence. It may, however, undermine his ability to play a central, influential role in future political struggles, particularly the succession struggle that will likely emerge after the death of the current Supreme Leader."
The Israeli's could not possibly have forecast a more erroneous intelligence assessment, as he was down but by no means out of the picture. Particularly the big picture.
Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi has now ascended to not only play a central and influential role in the selection of the next Supreme Leader, but will be the lead Ayatollah of Iran's 86-man Assembly of Experts to identify the next Supreme Leader. He could very potentially become the next Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran standing on the precipice of possessing nuclear weapons.
Need I say that would be bad, very, very bad, and it would necessarily accelerate military calculations on the urgency needed to preempt Iran's nuclear program as of Tuesday 10 March 2015.
Make no mistake brothers and sisters, this guy is the true Adolf Hilter of modern-day Iran; Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was and remains is a pussy cat compared to this guy. Let me put it another way. The labels "radical" or "conservative hardliner" are much too mild to be accurate in describing Ayatollah Muhammed-Taqi Mesbah Yazdi's mindset, which is a mindset based upon his Mahdi-centric worldview. Iranian's know him as "Temsah" (Crocodile) for very good reasons. Personally, I think the man is demonically possessed.
Here's the key takeaway. As a member of the Shi'a Hojjatieh eschatological sect it is his utmost religious duty to do anything and everything possible to create the global apocalyptic conditions to hasten the awaited al-Madhi. In his eschatological belief system it is the al-Mahdi's mission to kill every Jew living on planet earth. Accordingly, he would nuke Tel Aviv in a heartbeat. Given that he is 80+ years old, he would not dilly-dally about it and would not care one whit if Iran was glassed in retaliation if it meant the al-Madi's return was assured in his mind.
The election of this Iranian Ayatollah to the leadership of the Assembly of Experts in Iran has magnified the words spoken by PM Netanyahu in ways that far too few in the world media have made note of. And that is most unfortunate. Perhaps they will take note if Mahmoud Ahmadinejad returns to power in the near term also.

The odds?...Last Tuesday, Netanyahu said in broadcast remarks, there was a "huge, worldwide effort" to ensure he loses the closely contested election…A powerful U.S. Senate investigatory committee has launched a bipartisan probe into American nonprofit OneVoice Movement funding of efforts to oust Netanyahu after the Obama administration’s State Department gave the OneVoice Movement taxpayer-funded grants of $350K - A subsidiary of OneVoice is the Israel-based Victory 15 (V15) campaign, which is guided by top operatives of Obama’s White House, which seeks to “replace the government” of Israel, and is headed by Obama’s 2012 field director Jeremy Bird. …Disgraceful!! “I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you” Genesis 12:3
Does everyone get the message? “God appoints authorities” Rom. 13:1 …”He removes kings and raises up kings” Dan. 2:21 …”the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men, and appoints over it whomever He chooses” Dan. 5;21 …it is very apparent like Queen Esther, God has appointed Bibi as the present day King of Israel “for such a time as this.”
Netanyahu’s campaign platform: If I'm elected, there will be no Palestinian state. Netanyahu said Monday that after the election, Israel will face international pressure to pull back to the 1967 lines - “We must establish a strong national government headed by Likud in order to fend off these pressures.” He warned that any areas that came under Palestinian rule would subsequently become a Hamas stronghold. The prime minister vowed to increase construction in East Jerusalem, and said the city would never be divided. “We will continue to build in Jerusalem, we will add thousands of housing units, and in the face of all the (international) pressure, we will persist and continue to develop our eternal capital.” God honored Netanyahu’s commitment to the land – In Genesis 17:7-8 God established an “everlasting covenant” with Abraham - God gave the land to the Israelites. Jerusalem should never be divided for any reason as it is the God given property of the people of Israel. Bibi Netanyahu understands the Abrahamic Covenant and God’s promises - the Zionist Union Labor party and their leaders Isaac Herzog and Tzipi Livni do not respect God’s covenant promises, and ran on a platform of establishing a Two-State solution, returning to the pre-1967 lines with east Jerusalem as the capital of a Palestinian state…GOD Wins! Bibi remains the King of Israel!
Not only a victory against all odds, but a stunning and crushing victory, with Netanyahu’s Likud party garnering an astounding 30 seats out of a possible 120...“For the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.” (Deuteronomy 20:4)...“With your help, and with the help of God, we will build a nationalist government that will protect the state of Israel,” stated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is now the longest-serving Israeli Prime Minister since David Ben-Gurion, the founding father of Israel. Israel’s first anointed King was Saul (whose name means “desired”). Benjamin means “son of the right hand” and/or “beloved of the Lord” and has also been given by Rabbis the meaning of one "who devours his enemy.” Netanyahu in Hebrew means "YAHWEH (or Jehovah) has given." Has Jehovah God given Benjamin Netanyahu to Israel “for such a time as this” like in the story of Queen Esther, possibly to devour Israel’s enemies – and specifically Persia (Iran)? Note in the picture of the Time Cover, the subscript “He’s conquered Israel, But will Netanyahu now make peace - or war? PM Netanyahu made it crystal clear in his speech to the U.S. Congress this month, which was focused on the pending P5+1 Iran Agreement to be consummated this month… “But I can guarantee you this, the days when the Jewish people remained passive in the face of genocidal enemies, those days are over...We are no longer scattered among the nations, powerless to defend ourselves...we, the Jewish people, can defend ourselves...even if Israel has to stand alone, Israel will stand” ...and the God of Israel will stand with the Apple of His eye! “Like birds hovering overhead, the LORD Almighty will shield Jerusalem; he will shield it and deliver it, he will 'pass over' it and will rescue it." Saul being the first anointed King of Israel, has some interesting connections to the name “Benjamin.” The tribe of Benjamin is described in Jacob's blessing (Gen. xlix. 27) as warlike - Benjamin formed part of the camp of the sons of Joseph, the tribe counted 35,400 warriors, and later on 45,600 men (Num. i. 36; ii. 22, 23; x. 22-24; xxvi. 41). The tribe of Benjamin was destined to a prominent place in the history of Israel as it gave the nation its first king, in the person of Saul, son of Kish (I Sam. ix. 1); and when Saul died, his son, Ish-bosheth, reigned for two years over Benjamin and the other tribes, except Judah (II Sam. ii. 8, 9). Benjamin remained loyal to the house of David (I Kings xii. 21), and therefore shared the destinies of Judah at the time of the restoration (Ezra iv. 1, x. 9). Mordecai (tying back to the story of Esther) the loyal Jew, was a descendant of Saul of the tribe of Benjamin (Esth. ii. 5). The name "Benjamin" is given various meanings by the Rabbis. According to some, is equivalent to ("son of days"). The Rabbis lay stress on the name, "beloved of the Lord," by which Benjamin is distinguished (Deut. xxxiii. 12; Sifre, l.c.). A comparison is also made to the ravening wolf (Cant. R. to viii. 1), "who devours his enemy.”

The thought strikes me, is it possible that Saul being the First anointed King of Israel is in contrast to “Benjamin” (Netanyahu) possibly being the Last of the Kings of Israel, as it appears the Church Age is quickly coming to a close, and the time of Jacobs Trouble is at hand. Has he been appointed for such a time as this? Time will tell.

Who would have ever thought we would live to see the day to read these news titles on a sitting President of the United States of America? Once again, this U.S. Administration continues put its finger square in the eye of the Apple of God’s Eye, Israel...Almighty God’s response HAS to be true to His Word – He cannot violate or vary from His Word – “The words of the Lord are pure words, Like silver tried in a furnace of earth, Purified seven times. You shall keep them, O Lord, You shall preserve them from this generation forever” Psalm 12:6-7 ...and here is what God’s Word says “I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you” Genesis 12:3 ...and ”The God of Israel will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem” Zechariah 12:9 - this does NOT exclude this U.S. administration or America for that fact!
As previously stated “America is God’s Disappointing Vineyard”…“Now let me tell you what I will do to my vineyard (U.S.): I will tear down its (financial) hedges and let it be destroyed (this is the Shemitah year). I will break down its walls and let (other nations) the animals trample it (China overtakes U.S. as world's largest economy - Pentagon: US may lose high-tech military superiority to China, Russia). I will make it a wild place where the vines are not pruned and the ground is not hoed, a place overgrown with briers and thorns (California's drought has reached Biblical-plague proportions). I will command the clouds to drop no rain on it. (Because) The nation of Israel is the (real) vineyard of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. The people of Judah are his pleasant garden. He expected a crop of justice (from the U.S.), but instead he found oppression (toward Israel). He expected to find righteousness (or honesty and support toward and for Israel), but instead he heard cries of violence (as the U.S. abandons Israel for backing Hamas and Iran terrorists, who’s mission is to destroy her).” Isaiah 5:5-7
I am again taking the liberty of using the verse above meant for Israel, as also having fulfillment in the United States of America - many passages in the Bible concerning Israel seem to have a parallel message to America, as Rabbi Jonathan Cahn so aptly points out in The Harbinger: the Ancient Mystery that holds the secret of America's Future and the Isaiah 9:10 judgment.
The articles above and many other actions (and inactions) of the U.S. toward Israel by this administration, has not only serious ramifications for Israel, but serious consequences for America. The U.S. has been Israel’s defender for the last 97-years [Even prior to May 14, 1948, when Israel declared itself a State and the US declared its recognition and support, following World War I, the Balfour Declaration of November 2, 1917 was a product of efforts by President Woodrow Wilson at the urging of Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis]...starting with Bush I and the Oslo Accords (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oslo_Accords) the push of Land for Peace, and continuing to its crescendo now with the Obama administration, blatantly and unashamedly aligning the U.S. with those nations and terrorist groups, who have aggressively and loudly called for Israel’s destruction - to wipe it off the map, is appalling at best! and it WILL call down God’s judgments at worst!
Many people report seeing 11:11 over and over again, and it has gained popularity as the 11:11 phenomenon. Here is the likely meaning - Jeremiah 11:11 contains a serious warning: “Therefore thus says the Lord: “Behold, I will surely bring calamity on them which they will not be able to escape; and though they cry out to Me, I will not listen to them.” Yes, Jeremiah 11:11 was written for Israel, however, as Jonathan Cahn draws a parallel for America from Isaiah 9:10 “The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment” (the same judgmental consequences for Israel visited on America), a parallel “Harbinger” may be true for America and may find its fulfillment in the words of Jeremiah 11:11.
For those who have read Cahn’s latest book “The Mystery of the Shemitah” and understand the Shemitah year judgments on America since 9/11/2001 and again in 2008 (see our recent report The 777.7 Coincidence!!?? http://watchmansview.com/Commentary_-_The_777.7_Coincidence%21%21.html) can see that the “Calamity” has begun and most “will not be able to escape” the financial devastation which is to come! Many have suggested it is already too late to “cry out” as God’s judgment on America (and the world for that matter) is fixed to His timetable for wrapping up the Church Age, taking His Bride home, and unleashing His righteous judgments (Tribulation period) on Earth!
Supporting these thoughts, Rabbi Cahn states in his latest book The Mystery of the Shemitah “But what if the Shemitah contains an ominous warning about a wider collapse of not just stock markets or housing markets but potentially America’s very existence as leader of the free world?” That would certainly be a Jeremiah 11:11 event! Cahn also points out “the focus of the message is not date-setting but the call of God to repentance and return. 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” “At the same time, something of significance could take place, and it is wise to note the times.”

Official: White House was part of bid to oust Netanyahu
The White House was directly involved in an attempt to unseat Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in last week’s general election, during a nadir in ties between the Israeli leader and US President Barack Obama, a senior Jerusalem official said Tuesday. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told The Times of Israel that “it’s no secret” that the Obama administration had attempted to influence the outcome of the election, having been partially motivated by a desire for revenge over Netanyahu’s polarizing speech before Congress earlier this month, which sought to undermine the president’s key foreign policy initiative – a nuclear deal with Iran. U.S. Caves to Key Iranian Demands as Nuke Deal Comes Together

…and here was God’s righteous action on Sodom and Gomorrah because of their total depravity:

In addition to what America is doing to Israel, Franklin Graham said this week that America's "end is near" thanks to progressive politics and the "new morality" imposed by the Obama administration. In a Facebook post Monday, Graham pegged progressives, led by Barack Obama and Eric Holder, as "one of the greatest threats to America." Graham charged that their "new morality -- which is really no morality at all" has been forced onto the citizens of this country, in effect, turning America's back on God. "History shows that when nations do this, their end is near,"
Pray for this U.S. administration that they come to their senses and back off from this dangerous path and find common ground with Israel despite the deep seeded policy and personality differences.
